Our Story
It all started with a winter morning like any other. The inventor was driving home across the bridge from St. Louis to Illinois, listening to a radio station. They were poking fun at the Germans for putting a sugar solution on the Autobahn to prevent ice buildup. But instead of laughing, the inventor started thinking — maybe they were onto something. What if we could keep ice from forming without relying on harsh chemicals? What if there was a way to protect windshields, roads, and sidewalks using safer, eco-friendly ingredients?
That was the spark. That was the moment when the idea for Pre-De-Icer began to take shape.
From there, it became a mission — not just to prevent ice and snow but to do it safely, without damaging cars, walkways, or the planet. After countless trials and a lot of late nights, PRE DE-ICER was born. Simple to use, easy to apply, and tough enough to keep ice from forming, it’s a grassroots effort to make winters safer and easier for everyone.
